Zoo Snooze Programs

See the Zoo in a different light.

Enjoy a Zoo Snooze Overnight!

Zoo Snoozes are a fun way to enjoy seeing yoru favorite animals after dark.  Come during the winter, spring, summer or fall and discover what happens at the zoo at night.

Indoor Option

A Walk in the Dark: Who's afraid of the dark - not us!  This program introduces children and adults to life after dark in the zoo.  After dinner, participants will set up 'camp' in the Nocturnal Building and learn about animal adaptations for living in the dark.  Come and hear the 'music of the night' during this fun and exciting indoor adventure. (NOTE: we can only accomodate up to 25 people in this Snooze option!)

Outdoor Option

Bring your tents, set-up in the zoo and enjoy a special evening with us.  After dinner participants will enjoy a night walk to check in on our animals, followed by a campfire and marshmallow roast.

• Dinner

Fees:

• Safari Snooze: 1-12 people* -- $250.00
• Explorers Zoo:13-24 people* -- $350.00
• Adventure Snooze: 25-36 people* -- $450.00
• Super Explorers Snooze:37-50 people* -- $550.00

Zoo Members enjoy a $25.00 discount on any snooze!

For safety reasons, Capron Park Zoo requires a 1:5 ratio of adults to children

Programs are availableyear-round on Fridays*, Saturdays, and during school holidays.
(*NOTE: Fridays are not available during July and August)

Dates are limited, so for best availability, call early!
